September 27th – October 1st 2016 you might have seen more than normal amount of mini cooper’s in the area. That is because MINIs in Foliage was in the area! Bill Derr started the event 4 years ago where MINI owners gather together to drive around and enjoy the spectacular foliage in the Northeast. As part of their event they choose a local charity to raise money for. This year they chose US! On Saturday, October 1 they gathered at the Barnsider in Lake George for their farewell dinner where they raised money for our cause. THIS is why we are able to do what we do. THANK YOU again to Paul Bradt who reached out and introduced themselves and to all of the attendee’s of MINIs in Foliage.

Mom Prom was created in 2006 in Canton, MI by Betsy Crapps. The first Mom Prom was held at St. Thomas a’Becket Catholic Church. It is a ladies night out for charity in which women wear their old prom gowns, bridesmaids dresses, or wedding gowns. It is a real prom with a DJ, contests, raffles and a game to crown the new queen. This is a wonderful, hilarious night in which women can dance the night away, have fun with friends, and help a worthy cause. We hope to have ladies groups from across the country create their own proms, raising money for charities that are close to their hearts. So look for that old gown in the back of your closet and get ready to dance, dance, dance while helping those in need. Visit their website for more information on Mom Prom at:
