On July 27th, 2015 I was invited to Hadley Luzerne Elementary school to meet with, read to, and distribute books to fifty students that were in grades Pre K to second grade. What a rewarding experience interacting with these young children who were both eager and engaged in the activity. All like sponges, absorbing the educational experience. Kudos goes out to teacher Cindy Cook and her staff for their commitment to extending the learning experience to such fertile minds. On October 8th, 2015 we concluded the summer reading program which was a very exciting time for all of the elementary students that participated in the assembly. This is an ongoing program with New York State Senator Betty Little. She handed out a reading certificate to the 136 students that had participated. I was honored to be a part of this program for the second year in a row. What a wonderful program and a joy to be a part of!
