We would like to extend a special thank you to Eagle Scout Julian Campopiano for the creation of a new Ben’s Book Station at Hovey Pond. This is necessary for a Boy Scout to become an Eagle Scout. This Book Station was proposed, planned, financed, and constructed by Julian Campopiano and his team. This project is being installed at Freedom Park/ Hovey Pond on Lafayette Street in Queensbury, NY. Julian Campopiano is a Junior at Queensbury High School. He has been a scout for 6 years of Troop #2 St. Mary's of Glens Falls. To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout Julian must complete a community based project. Julian has chosen to build a book station in support of the Ben Osborn Memorial Fund to accomplish this achievement. Julian and his fellow scouts will unveil our 26th book station on Sunday May 21st at 1:30 at Freedom Park / Hovey Pond. Come help us celebrate this worthwhile project and Julian and his team for their hard work. We want to congratulate Julian and his dedication to Boy Scouts. Striving towards the goal of an Eagle Scout is quite an honor and will follow him through the rest of his life.
