A sad farewell to a trusted, reliable and dedicated friend and companion. After eight years of service, K-9 Officer Ozzy, Badge #40, of the Warren County Sheriff's Department has been retired. His handler, Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Coon, counted on Ozzy for drug detection, suspect control, tracking, and protection. As the K-9 mainstay, Ozzy made his handler's life easier and much safer, all while providing a sense of camaraderie and friendship that is so special between a man and his dog. Enjoy your retirement, Ozzy. You earned it! Passed away on April 3, 2025.
